Ramadhan Dates Giveaway

In conjunction with Ramadhan month, KL Monorail has rewarded loyal passenger with free dates and mineral water for breaking fast at KL Sentral, Hang Tuah and Bukit Nanas.

In the spirit of 1Malaysia and celebrating Malaysia’s 52^nd Merdeka Day, an impromptu Merdeka Train Party was held on 8 trains that were on the mainline. The event was the brain child of Zain HD and organized by Random Alphabet.  Invitation to the Merdeka Train Party was distributed via the Facebook and participants came from all over Klang Valley consist of people all walks of life. Event was a success in spreading the1Malaysia and Merdeka spirit to all Malaysian.

Ricoh is now the sponsor of the Medan Tuanku station has raised environmental awareness and supported conservation efforts. Benches that are made entirely from recycled toner cartridges and bottles are a common sight at that monorail stations.

Pets@Monorail Mini Carnival

KL Monorail launched its Pets@Monorail program with a bang! A mini carnival was organized to make everyone aware of the program and to launched KL Monorail "We Care" campaign.

This campaign is developed to disseminate the important message of caring and loving animals. Besides inculcating a ‘caring society’ this campaign is also educational as it provides fun and informative displays of animals at the monorail.

KL Monorail and KL Hop On Hop Off (KL HoHo) colaborated on a speacial package spesificly targeted to tourist visiting Kuala Lumpur. The package is a single pass worth RM20 which allow the pass holder to enjoy unlimited travel on two modes of transportation - The KL HoHo bus and the KL Monorail train.

Launching event was held at KL Monorail Bukit Nanas station and was officiated by Ministry of Tourism, Datuk Bla Bla.

The promotion ended on 31 May 2009.
